The Air Jordans 2017 “Win Like ‘96” is sure to be one of the most sought-after releases of this holiday season, and Jordan Brand decided to spread the cheer early this year by having a surprise drop of the shoe yesterday. Jordan Brand set up shop in a select few malls across the country and told hopeful shoppers to hunt down an image that would grant early access to the Jordan 11 “Win Like ‘96” through the SNKRS app. One of these malls was Roosevelt Field Mall in New York where the brand set up a grand display complete with Santa Claus, of course rocking the new all-red colorway. However, once folks got their hands on the “secret image” the image made its way through social media and the early access stock was quickly sold through. With the arrival of the colder Holiday season is the influx of consumer interest on the Air Jordan 11 Retro.
Cheap Air Jordan Shoes typically reserves the popular patent-leather Jordans for the end of the year, but year after year those release traditions have been reshaped as the brand aims to sell more and more product. This look back at an incredible rare “Twilight Blue” sample of the Air Jordan 11 from 2000 shows us that Jordan Brand may have had plans to expand the colorways of the iconic shoe from 1996, but what makes this sample even more intriguing is that it features the JORDAN lettering on the eyelets – a detail seen in Tinker Hatfield’s earlier sketches of the shoe as well as on unreleased samples of 2006’s DMP Jordan 11 release. If you’ve never seen the Air Jordan 11 “Twilight Blue” sample before, see the gallery here and check out the live listing from bucksvintagestore on eBay.It appears as though Jordan Brand will be expanding.
The 2017 Jordans For Sale “Heiress”. The luxurious colorway, clad with a stingray mudguard and a black suede upper will be releasing in sizes up to 10.5. What makes this development noteworthy is the fact that girls-specific Jordans typically release only up to size 9.5, meaning this release spans an even greater audience than usual. Those feeling the holiday cheer from Jordan Brand with this update can look to cop this new colorway on Black Friday (November 24th) to the tune of a $220 MSRP price tag. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for more release details as they become available.Back in May, Jordan Brand honored Derek Jeter with a special pair of Air Jordan 11s in commemoration of his retirement ceremony at Yankee Stadium. If you were lucky enough to win one of the five pairs made via a scratch-off auction, then you cashed in on one of the most mythical and coveted pairs of Air Jordans ever created.
